Dave’s Limousine

Caitlin & Rodney paid a visit to Dave’s Limousine in search of the perfect “ride” for them and their entourage. PWP Shooters Geoff Horowitz and Sofia Negron tagged along. It was a brief visit as after only 15 minutes Caitlin, Rodney and Dave connected and another vendor was booked for the big day.

We are so glad that we finally got to meet Caitlin and Rodney over the holidays. Since their stay in the states was so short, we crammed in as much stuff as possible. We had some time to kill between appointments, so Geoff and I (Sofia) stopped off at Gibraltar Gardens with Caitlin and Rodney for some intimate engagement photos. Gibraltar Gardens has a really beautiful garden in the spring and summer but they also have this old dilapidated house that has great textures and walls. We had lots of fun with them and as you can see they are total naturals!

Part of the reason why we are involved in this project is because we are all inspired and challenged by each other every week. All of us approach photography and telling a story a little bit differently, you can imagine our excitement to do this project as a group. Getting the chance to work together for the greater good of one deserving couple is going to just be awesome.

Biography – Geoffrey Horowitz

When I was 11 years old my dad woke me up at 5:00 one Sunday morning and asked, “how would you like to skip Hebrew School today and come with me to take some pictures.” Despite the crusty eyed haze I was in, it was a no brainer. That trip to Cape May, NJ put my life on a course that I never could have imagined.

My college background is Sociology and Early Childhood Education. During my student teaching year I taught photography at a Montessori School. Over the course of a 10-year career in insurance, I was the go to guy for photo documentation. The week I quit that job 3 different people approached me because they needed a professional photographer. That leap of faith, to quit insurance and follow my heart, became what is now Leapfrog Photography.

Since then my work has been seen in Modern Bride, Philadelphia Elegant Wedding, Sports Illustrated, Triathlete Magazine, Jobsite Magazine (cover), Elle and beyond. More importantly, as a wedding photographer I have been privileged to take part in a rite of passage in the lives of hundreds of couples and their families.
